Comfort & Convenience

Join your Walden Place friends for an excursion aboard the Walden Place Shuttle or find yourself in the Activity Center playing cards or exercising. Cortland and Tompkins Counties are always with in your reach. The Walden Place shuttle will take you to local outdoor concerts, theatrical performances, historical sites, your favorite fishing hole, and on other sightseeing excursions. Plus, the complimentary Walden Place shuttle is available to take you to your local scheduled medical appointments.

Healthy Meals & Personalized Care Plans

A balanced diet is essential for maintaining strength and independence. Three nourishing meals are served daily. Also, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that a personalized service plan are based upon your needs and personal preferences. Convenient and spacious bathrooms, complete with walking safety shower, are featured in every apartment home and bathing assistance is provided. Long-term caring staff members are available 24-hours each day.

Legacy Court at Walden Place

Legacy Court at Walden Place is a specifically designed community for individuals experiencing memory loss. It's Cortland's only social model special care program for those with early to mid-stage Alzheimer's disease, in a separate, secure, wellness-focused neighborhood.

Old-fashioned, know-your-name service is just the beginning. Staff members care deeply and pay particular attention the likes and dislikes of each resident. Your loved one will feel right at home and you will too!

Residents' needs are met while fostering independent and nurturing individual abilities.
