Especially in an elegant dining room where you didn't have to plan or prepare the food! After a delicious repast, you just might feel like moving around a bit. Luckily, just down the hall is our wellness center with state-of-the-art equipment and exercise programs. Just outside you'll find our outdoor heated pool and spa, too.
At Fountain View Village, there's always room for quiet time. How about snuggling down into a cushy couch for a show in our movie theater? Or maybe you'd prefer a slow stroll through our art gallery to review the work of local artists. You could visit one of our two chapels for quiet reflection, be enticed into our inviting library with tall windows and fireplace, or access the world in our Internet-connected computer lounge. Maybe you'd like to host a meeting in one of the many common area rooms, entertain friends in the private dining room, or start your creative juices flowing in the large arts-and-crafts rooms. For your convenience, we offer an on-site bank, post office and hair salon. But if you need to get out, transportation is effortless with scheduled bus and limousine services.
Our Life Enhancement Center
Healthy lifestyle requires physical activity and, at Fountain View Village, residents and neighbors enjoy a state-of-the art Life Enhancement Center for senior-friendly exercise. Membership at this friendly facility is open to area seniors age 55 and above who seek a refreshing alternative to traditional health clubs. On-site staff supports and guides visitors in an environment respectful of all clients. We make available both scheduled and private instruction.
Our programs, services and classes evolve based on participation and requests. Some of these include:
- Group exercise programs
- Personal fitness training
- Tai Chi and other movement classes
- Aquatic exercise
- Nutritional consultation
- Massage therapy
- Visiting specialists in foot care, physical, occupational and speech therapy available on an outpatient basis
