Often times the smallest actions mean the most over time, especially when they’re done with care. Today’s Heart of Caring nominee was recognized for going above and beyond even in the little things, ultimately making a big difference in the lives of the residents she cares for.
“Caring: Julia exemplifies her caring attitude each and every time she administers meds to our residents. She treats each resident with such care and compassion; talks to each about their interests.”
“Many families have questions about their loved one, medically speaking and Julia takes each ones question/concerns as if it were her own family member. She answers each question or concern thoroughly.”
Her positive spirit, patience and determination to care for residents and family members as if they were her own family makes Julia invaluable to the Chestnut House team.
“Julia is always at her job on time with a smile to greet each resident. . She goes the extra mile for the residents. She never forgets a birthday, anniversary or any special day for the residents of Chestnut House. Julia knows the names of every family member and some grandchildren as well. She is detailed with every new resident and family member on services provided. Julia takes the time daily to go see a resident that may not come to meals. If they don’t come to activities she does a room visit daily.”
Thank you, Julia, for using your heart of caring to provide service that is truly best-in-class because it comes from the heart. Congratulations on your nomination!
