The SLC Institute of Hospitality hosted its inaugural School of Culinary Arts August 3rd-7th, 2009. The institute is one of the few of its kind in the senior living industry and is an innovative new step in personal growth and our commitment to excel!! All SLC Directors of Dining Services and Executive Chefs were encouraged to apply by submitting recommendations from residents and staff as well as photos and or video of their culinary accomplishments at their respective communities.
The Heart of Caring nominations illuminated the superior dedication and loving care of the SLC staff members who nurture the spirit of America’s elders and celebrate the rhythm of life of our residents. Congratulations to our five winners!
