Based on the World Health Organizations definition of well-being, Senior Lifestyle Communities engage residents in wellness through a choice six dimensions:

Physical wellness - Encourages us to enhance our personal well being by understanding the relationship of physical activity, knowledge, good nutrition and health

Intellectual wellness - Provides opportunity to explore, learn and grow

Emotional wellness - Helps us to express and manage personal feelings, receive support and have fun

Spiritual wellness - Inspires us to seek meaning, purpose and value in life

Social wellness - Promotes positive interaction that helps us connect and nurture each other

Vocational wellness - Encourages us to reach out and help our community

 



All Senior Lifestyle communities are partners with the International Council on Active Aging.
