Today’s Heart of Caring nominee is a night owl who takes every opportunity she can to put her caring heart to work, brightening up the evenings for the residents at Garden Estates of Tyler.
“Each night you see her engaging the residents and there’s never a night without laughter when Rosemary’s there. Although she works a shift that slows down a little bit because it’s in the evening, that doesn’t stop her from keeping the residents engaged. It could be doing puzzles, board games, playing Skip Bo, making up her own games, even just visiting with the residents; they are always having a good time when Rosemary is on duty.”
“Rosemary is a good role model because she shows how to care for residents and staff. She’s not afraid to go over and beyond her job duties to make sure that the resident has what they need. Customer service seems to be one of the hardest things to find today, so this is a big plus for our residents, staff, families and prospects!”
Rosemary’s commitment to impeccable customer service and best-in-class care has allowed her to foster connections with all of the residents she cares for, be it a new resident or one who’s been a part of the family for years.
“Rosemary has a special relationship with many families and residents. They truly care for Rosemary & trust her beyond doubt. One family that comes to mind has been here for eight years now and their mom has declined over the past year. Rosemary has gone over and beyond to comfort his family by visiting the hospital and rehab and on top of that, make sure the resident still stays engaged although she’s not as outgoing as she was before. When Rosemary is on duty, the resident is usually up front having a good time! Rosemary is such an asset to our community; everyone that she comes in contact with I feel she touches their life in some way.”
