Tony Sovian, Activities Director, has actively spent 18 years of his career in the senior living industry, and his passion for caring clearly demonstrates why he earned a nomination.

Tony may be responsible for executing the program of activities for all the residents, but it’s the unplanned interactions and activities that truly demonstrate the depth of his heart of caring.
“Tony is extremely involved in our residents’ lives. He takes the time to listen to our residents, as well as keep them happy and active with the personalized activities he initiates. Tony stays after dinner to play cards with our residents; he does not leave his job until he knows all of our residents are happy and satisfied.”
The connects Tony forges with the residents at the Pointe at Kirby Gate don’t stop at evening cards; Tony has been known to treat the residents he interacts with as if they were his own family members to care for.
“Tony has a special gift with communicating and relating to our residents. He becomes part of our residents’ families. He attends birthday parties, anniversaries, and has given eulogies for his residents. Tony has no boundaries for caring!”
