Cafe Attendant

Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Maintenance Assistant

Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living

Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation. Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans. May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director. Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community. Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.     May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed. 

Sous chef

To assist in the oversight of daily operations in the kitchen. Works with the Executive Chef to ensure the highest quality food products and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This position may be required to supervise other staff positions. This position will perform the duties of the Executive Chef in his/her absence.
 - Produce and oversee meals, production and special events for quality assurance of meal presentation and portion control.

 - Prepare and coordinates all meals from standardized recipes. Ensure production sheets are completed according to the food production sheets policy.

 - Assist in the coordination of prep for the following day’s menu.

 - Participate in a pre-meal meeting with food servers to review detail of daily menu. Maintain daily interaction with residents.

 - Keep stock rooms, coolers and freezers clean and rotated. All food must be covered, labeled, dated and stored in accordance with local, state and county health department policies.

 - Ensure adequate staffing of culinary employees each shift.

 - Assist in ordering and inventory.

  – Assist in the adherence to maintaining budget compliance for daily food costs. Assist in applying appropriate loss prevention procedures. Keep waste to a minimum by utilizing food storage and food recycling techniques.

 - Assist in training and scheduling of employees in accordance with Company human resources policy.

 - Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food preparation according to state and local health department code requirements. Adhere to personal hygiene policy.

 - Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.

 - Perform other duties as assigned.

Respond quickly to all emergencies. Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff. Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.     May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed. 

Scheduling Coordinator/ Central Supply

Serve as the key point person for labor management of a multi-level assisted and skilled nursing community. Create and maintain weekly schedules for clinical employees for both the assisted living and nursing home neighborhoods. Improve financial performance by improving efficiency, eliminating redundant work schedules, reducing agency utilization and maximizing in-house shift pick ups.  Handle scheduling conflicts and update team members about schedule changes.  Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted information.  Responsible for creating and scheduling Nursing Assistants and Nurse’s of the Nursing Department.  Attend various community events.  Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.  Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.  Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.  Perform other duties as assigned. 

Director of Housekeeping I

Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, and residential apartments. Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with department guidelines and assure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other relevant rules and regulations. Coordinate the annual deep cleaning program for apartments. Schedule the preparation of apartments for move-ins. Conduct inspection of offices, common space, guestrooms, and residential apartments. Maintain inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Inform Executive Director of any resident issues or concerns. Develop and monitor the housekeeping department budget. Prepare resident charges/billing for housekeeping services when applicable. May, in consultation with the Executive Director, hire, train, discipline and terminates department employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation’s human services policy.           Participate in the Manager on Duty program. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Ensure that all company uniform and grooming standards for the department are followed. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Perform other duties as assigned.
