Area Nurse – CCRCs

Should ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, conduct quality audits, train staff, and optimize resident care. proxy caregiver training; administering skills competency checklists to resident care aides upon hire; quarterly observations of medication aides to verify competency with medication administration; and annual competency reviews for resident care aides. May be required to supervise other staff members. This position reports to the Divisional Director of Health and Wellness.
Job Description
Pay Rate: $100,000
- Clinical Operations & Quality: Monitor clinical outcomes, audit medical services, and implement quality improvement plans to enhance resident care and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
- Respond quickly to all emergencies.
- Maintain close communication with Health and Wellness Directors
- Maintain resident confidentiality
- Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
- Provide educational meetings for resident care staff as needed.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities adhere to federal (OBRA, OSHA, HIPPA)
- Staff Training & Support: Provide clinical expertise, education, and support to nursing staff and administrators.
- Policy Development: Develop and update clinical policies and procedures across the region.
- Staffing Support: Participate in the recruitment and retention of nursing staff.
- Travel: Travel between facilities, often up to 90% of the time, to perform on-site visits/support
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
Level of Formal Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Area of Study: Nursing
Years of Experience: 3–5 years
Type of Experience: Long-term care, skilled nursing, or clinical management.
Special Certifications: Must have a current/ active nurse License with zero judgments, CPR certified
Language Skills: English
Technical Competencies: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
Skills and Ability: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes
