Resident Honored With Prestigious French Medal for WWII Heroism

Robert Crecco, a resident at Addington Place of Stuart, has been awarded the “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” (Knight of the Legion of Honor) by French Consul General Raphaël Trapp in recognition of his role in the liberation of France during World War II.

The ceremony took place at Addington Place of Stuart on April 27, 2026, as Crecco celebrated his 101st birthday, making the occasion even more meaningful for residents, team members, and loved ones in attendance.
