Thank you for being the people who showed up for him every single day. You became part of his world, and in many ways, part of ours too.

It brought me comfort to know that he was surrounded by people who saw him as more than a resident. The kindness you offered him, and us, was something we felt deeply. You gave him companionship. You gave him moments of warmth when we couldn’t always be there ourselves.

Even in the small things — a smile, a steady arm, a shared joke, a moment of listening — you created a sense of home for him. Those small things weren’t small to us. They mattered. You mattered.

Please know that what you do every day touches families in ways you may not always see. You touched ours. And for that, we will always be grateful.
