Our small-group programming is designed to address the unique needs that arise from memory loss and impairment. Here’s how we spark both imagination and closeness:
- Award-winning embrace Memory Care programming — Our research-based and award winning programming is composed of five pillars: Snapshots, Thymeless, Spark, Bookmarks, and Essence. Learn about each pillar by speaking to our team and viewing our programming calendar below.
- Enrichment activities, including music therapy, baking, games, and other events residents can enjoy
- Thoughtfully designed programming includes trivia, cognitive/brain games, discussions, story/poetry writing, craft projects, scrabble, to keep residents minds active
- Walking and light movement is encouraged daily through different scheduled programs to keep residents moving and staying fit
- Screenings of residents favorite movies and TV shows take place in our on-site theater
- Off-campus outings to familiar places, such as grocery stores and parks
- Residents have the opportunity to try different hobbies as well as enjoy their passions
- Residents can engage with others during one of our many scheduled social hours
- Self-care options like massages and aromatherapy are available to residents to keep them relaxed and comfortable
Dining Experience
Our caregiving team members provide a person-centered approach to dining. Our team is here to ensure Memory Care residents get food they enjoy in a comforting and familiar environment. Some of our key dining offerings include:
- 2-3 Chef-prepared meals are prepared daily plus access to an assortment of snacks residents can access 24/7
- Hydration stations with infused water
- Focus on routine, familiarity, and comfort
- Dining assistance is available to assist residents who may need it to make dining easier and enjoyable
- Custom menus are developed to cater to unique dietary needs and preferences of the residents
- Restaurant-style dining services and flexible dining hours are available for the resident to choose what suits their needs
Health and Wellness
Our community team members is specially trained to assist those with dementia and other memory challenges. Our health & wellness services are carried out by our passionate team members and are provided with safety and resident well-being in mind. Some of our offerings include:
- Certified Memory Care Directors and Coordinators through the “National Certified Counsel of Dementia Practitioners”
- Individualized care plans
- Help with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Safe and secure amenity areas, health screenings, medication management, nurse on site, etc.,
- Transportation services to assist in making appointments and helping residents to and from the appointment
- Award winning Memory Care programming
- Wellness monitoring to ensure residents are safe and comfortable
