Starting at $22 per hour Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes. Work the food line during mealtimes. Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines and that all kitchen areas meet sanitation guidelines. Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Housekeeper

Community Relations Counselor – Assisted Living

Meet all expectations of meaningful contacts, leases and occupancy. Respond and follow-up with all walk-ins, phone-ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately. Secure the required number of budgeted move ins and achieve net gains each month. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families, and professional providers of care.    Participate in the community outreach program to generate the necessary number of referrals to reach sales goals. Report all sales activity to supervisor daily. Assure every alternative is considered before closing a lead.  Treat each inquiry with value. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information. Hourly Pay: $31.00 plus commission.

Memory Care Coordinator

​​​​​​​$22.00 Starting  Promote the company’s Embrace philosophy in all aspects of his/her role for residents, families and staff. Implement and oversee the six unique pillars of Embrace. Daily oversight of the operations in the Memory Care area in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.  Lead high-quality innovative programs in Memory Care. This is the positions primary focus. Person will personally lead a minimum of 5-7 programs per day. Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities. Encourage resident participation in programs. Provide education, training, and hands on support to community staff in partnership with the community managers. Implement and monitor programs and process to promote excellence in programming while maintaining a high level of resident/family/staff satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner.

Certified Medication Aide – Memory Care (MC)

Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Memory Care Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines as directed by the LPN/LVN/RN and/or the Director of Health & Wellness. Count and sign on approved form, all narcotics with approved personnel before accepting medication keys.  Contact a supervisor immediately with discrepancies. Order all necessary medication and treatments from appropriate pharmacy or notify responsible party when supply is no less than 7 days. Notify supervisor when supply is less than 2 days and medicine hasn’t been received. Responsible for receiving and verifying all medicine received is accurate according to pharmacy label and MAR.  Notifies pharmacy and DH&W of any discrepancies. Responsible for proper storage of all medications and ensuring all lotions, ointments and liquids stored separately from oral medications. Responsible for dating all appropriate vials or bottles at time of initial opening and following pharmacy protocol on length of time they can be used. Responsible for weekly inspections of all medications to ensure all expired medications are removed. Responsible for verifying all current MARs are compared to new MARs at change over time and notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies. Responsible for removing all discontinued medication from med cart and giving it to the supervisor. Provide personal care to residents to include, but not limited to, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating, etc. Provide general nursing care to include, but not limited to, vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights. Document appropriate information in the daily log as required and notify supervisor of all concerns. Answer calls and assist residents with needs as assigned. Responsible for daily cleaning of all medicine carts at end of shift and restocking as needed.  Responsible for weekly deep cleaning of all med carts. Attend and participate in staff training and in-services. Must maintain accurate records to include preparation of all medical charts for new admissions and readmissions and ensures medical record is complete within forty-eight (48) hours as Policy and Procedure (P&P) and regulatory guidelines.

Resident Program Coordinator – Skilled Nursing

Plan, develop, and implement resident lifestyle programming within the community as well as through outside trips and events. Survey and interview residents to determine their past and present interests and talents, as well as their satisfaction with the community’s programs and activities. Recognize the individuality, diversity, and spirituality of all residents when planning activities and celebrating holiday functions. Develop relationships with residents to encourage their participation in activities that enhance their quality of and appreciation for life. Observe residents’ function and behavior and report significant changes or concern to appropriate staff. Perform work tasks in a manner that preserves each resident’s dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Utilize outside community resources and independent contractors to enrich the variety of programs made available to residents. Develop and manage the annual department budget. Document and maintain all records as required to effectively manage the department. Secure and maintain all department supplies and equipment. Develop and distribute the resident newsletter/calendar and other lifestyle programming communications on a regular and monthly basis conforming to Senior Lifestyle standards. Work with assisted living department manager in planning daily activities for Assisted Living residents when applicable. Coordinate outings and weekly transportation schedule with the transportation department. May, in consultation with the Executive Director, hire, train, discipline, and terminate departmental employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation Human Resources Policy. Work cooperatively with all other departments in planning shared events. Coordinate volunteers, including their recruitment and training. Maintain an inviting, functional, and organized program area, including appropriate and seasonal decoration of display areas.                 Carry out all responsibilities to residents, families and coworkers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
