Executive Director

Act as the on-site executive for all operations, including being the main point of contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies and the public when needed.  Maintains resident retention by working with residents and their families, dealing with any issues that arise. Responds and follows up with all walk-ins, phone-ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately. Keeps up to date with information about competitors. Meets all expectations of meaningful contacts, leases and occupancy. Maintain budget accountability and cash flow; aggressively anticipate and minimize negative budget variances and deficits. Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporate policy.  Maintain all local, state, and federal licenses for the community. Lead staff meetings.  Promote and protect resident rights; assisting residents to make informed decisions and treating them with dignity and respect.  Become an intricate part of the community in social and civic affairs by representing the community in local, state, and professional organizations.  Manage other support level and management roles as needed. 

Move-In Coordinator

Pay range: $20-22 per hour Assist incoming residents with all facets of transition and move to the property. Support marketing team by assisting with tours, responding to telephone inquiries, hosting functions, and community outreach as needed.  Assist in the sales process with prospects and in the production of reports. Coordinate the refurbishing, cleaning and inspection of units after move-outs and before move-ins. Communicate incoming residents’ special needs or requirements to the appropriate channels.

Maintenance Tech – Full Time Days/Evenings (Every other weekend required)

Pay range: $22-23 per hour  Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping. Respond promptly to emergencies and after hours calls. Maintain knowledge of all property emergency, safety, and disaster plans/procedures. Maintain office, shop, and storage and ensure that mechanical areas of the community are in accordance with SLC policies. Drive residents to stores or on special trips as needed. 

Caregiver – Assisted Living

Pay range: $16.50-17.00 per hour Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor. Provide emotional and social support to residents. Document daily log of assistance. Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Private Duty Assistant

Pay range: $16-17 per hour Provide Personal Care as required: including but not limited to, giving showers/tub or sponge baths, shampooing hair, assisting with dressing, shaving, providing incontinence care, medication reminders, wheelchair transportation, transferring residents. Provide Home Making Services as required: including but not limited to, making the bed, washing dishes, tidying the apartment, organizing closets and dresser drawers, laundering clothing and bedding, ironing clothes, grocery shopping, meal preparations. Provide pet care: dog walks, cat care. Provide additional assistance as required. Document on the daily report sheets services provided to the resident. Daily reports to be completed and returned at the end of each shift.     Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

Human Resources Manager

Pay range: $80,000-$90,000 per year  *Pay range is flexible with consideration of experience and HR expertise*  Maintain personnel files.  Conduct new hire orientation and administer benefits. Assist in answering employee questions or concerns.  Ensure that payroll is accurately prepared and reported to the corporate office at the designated time.  Process/file workers compensation claims.  Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, the records, and restricted information. Understand roll in the safety and disaster plan.  Recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.  Oversee performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.  Approve and monitor employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.  Suggest and implement training opportunities.  Participate in the Manager On-Duty program.  Attend various community events.

Dietary Attendant & Line Cook – Skilled Nursing Facility

Pay range: $17-19/hr Follow and perform duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation Dining Policy and Procedures according to the Dining Services Policy and Procedure Manual.   Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures and ensures that foods follow prescribed modified or therapeutic diets, nutrition/hydration requirements and resident preferences.   Assist or serve meals as necessary and in a timely manner assuring that they are palatable and appetizing in appearance as well as accurate in content to the resident.  This will include resident room service as well as service to designated dining areas.  Setup, deliver, and verify accuracy of meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.  Upon meal completion team member will remove all soiled items/equipment and deliver to the dishwashing area.  Distribute and collect menus as necessary for each meal period. Assist department in obtaining proper food supplies for the next meal.  Assist cooks in preparation of menu items. Prepare and deliver snacks and other items as instructed and assist in inventory control and stocking. All Dietary Department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy. Perform kitchen utility duties such as, but not limited to: sweep and mop floors, buss items from dining areas to dish room, wash and clean small wares and equipment. Clean and sanitize work areas, cutting boards, and table tops as well as removing garbage. Keep work areas, clean, dry and free of hazards. Know and adhere to all company and the local, state, and county health department’s regulations. Ensure that all dining areas are clean and safely operating.   Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings.  Meet all department training standards through Redi-Learning and/or other necessary training modules as required.
