Resident Turns 104 Years Old at Addington Place of Stuart

Stephen Blauvelt Jr., a resident of Addington Place of Stuart, celebrated his 104th birthday on May 23, 2022, at Addington Place of Stuart. 

“I’m only 100, I don’t like to count too far,” Blauvelt joked with TCPalm, the online site of Treasure Coast Newspapers in Florida.

Blauvelt served as a pilot for the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He later went on to work for Chevron Oil as a salesman, where he retired in 1983. 

Blauvelt received a congratulatory proclamation from Sen. Gayle Harrell in celebration of his birthday.
