Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families. Answer telephone calls. You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity. Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns. You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested.  Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes. You will assist other departments with administrative functions. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes. Work the food line during mealtimes. Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines and that all kitchen areas meet sanitation guidelines. Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

General cleaning of resident apartments, hallways and other common areas. Assist in preparing empty apartments for resident move-ins. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  You may be asked to help respond to resident emergencies. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Ensures Bar is fully stocked (including drinks, mixers, alcohol, garnishes, glasses and light bar bites); facilitates ABC orders with Dining Director. Ensured responsible beverage service (no one is overserved). Assists with light food prep. May assist with training other employees. May assist in table service (to fill in as needed). Ensures beverage orders are delivered promptly. Ensures side work is completed for each shift. Takes food orders, presents to kitchen staff and delivers meal to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Ensures resident guest satisfaction. Responds quickly to resident or guest requests. Reports any resident comments or concerns to Dining Services Manager immediately. Assists in bussing and resetting tables. Assists in room services as needed. Complies with all state and county health codes for food handling. Attends all in-services training and pre-shift meetings. Handles china, glassware and equipment safely and quietly to minimize breakage. Performs all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers. Adheres to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Performs other duties as assigned.
