Resident Program Assistant

Assist in planning and coordinating all resident activities.  Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities and provide transportation to them as needed. Lead various activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director. Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.

Cook

Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes. Work the food line during mealtimes. Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines and that all kitchen areas meet sanitation guidelines. Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Dietary Aide

Follow and perform duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation Dining Policy and Procedures according to the Dining Services Policy and Procedure Manual.   Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures and ensures that foods follow prescribed modified or therapeutic diets, nutrition/hydration requirements and resident preferences.   Assist or serve meals as necessary and in a timely manner assuring that they are palatable and appetizing in appearance as well as accurate in content to the resident.  This will include resident room service as well as service to designated dining areas.  Setup, deliver, and verify accuracy of meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.  Upon meal completion team member will remove all soiled items/equipment and deliver to the dishwashing area.  Distribute and collect menus as necessary for each meal period. Assist department in obtaining proper food supplies for the next meal.  Assist cooks in preparation of menu items. Prepare and deliver snacks and other items as instructed and assist in inventory control and stocking. All Dietary Department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy. Perform kitchen utility duties such as, but not limited to: sweep and mop floors, buss items from dining areas to dish room, wash and clean small wares and equipment. Clean and sanitize work areas, cutting boards, and table tops as well as removing garbage. Keep work areas, clean, dry and free of hazards. Know and adhere to all company and the local, state, and county health department’s regulations. Ensure that all dining areas are clean and safely operating.   Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings.  Meet all department training standards through Redi-Learning and/or other necessary training modules as required.

Maintenance Assistant Part TIme

Complete work orders around the community. Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s. Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.  Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.

Care Associate -Part Time- Evenings- Personal Care

Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor. Provide emotional and social support to residents. Document daily log of assistance. Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Certified Medication Aide – Part Time, Evenings (Personal Care)

Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines as directed by the LPN/LVN/RN and/or the Assisted Living Director/Health and Wellness Director. Count and sign on approved form, all narcotics with approved personnel before accepting medication keys.  Contact a supervisor immediately with discrepancies. Order all necessary medication and treatments from appropriate pharmacy or notify responsible party when supply is no less than 7 days. Notify supervisor when supply is less than 2 days and medicine hasn’t been received. Responsible for receiving and verifying all medicine received is accurate according to pharmacy label and MAR.  Notifies pharmacy and DH&W of any discrepancies. Responsible for proper storage of all medications and ensuring all lotions, ointments and liquids stored separately from oral medications. Responsible for dating all appropriate vials or bottles at time of initial opening and following pharmacy protocol on length of time they can be used. Responsible for weekly inspections of all medications to ensure all expired medications are removed. Responsible for verifying all current MARs are compared to new MARs at change over time and notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies. Responsible for removing all discontinued medication from med cart and giving it to the supervisor. Provide personal care to residents to include, but not limited to, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating, etc. Provide general nursing care to include, but not limited to, vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights. Document appropriate information in the daily log as required and notify supervisor of all concerns. Answer calls and assist residents with needs as assigned. Responsible for daily cleaning of all medicine carts at end of shift and restocking as needed.  Responsible for weekly deep cleaning of all med carts. Attend and participate in staff training and in-services. Must maintain accurate records to include preparation of all medical charts for new admissions and readmissions and ensures medical record is complete within forty-eight (48) hours as Policy and Procedure (P&P) and regulatory guidelines.

Licensed Practical Nurse/ Floor Supervisor (LPN) – Full Time 3-11p

Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation. Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans. May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director. Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community. Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Supervise and maintain close communication with Assisted Living & Memory Care departments and staff members. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.     May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.

Director of Hospitality

Assist the community’s team members in the achievement of the community’s First Impression goals and help the community’s staff understand how their roles relate to the successful execution of the First Impression. Assist the community’s staff in understanding the most hospitable way to interact with anyone who enters the community, by developing the tools necessary for hospitable customer interaction. Adhere to one standard, every area be it the front of the house or back of the house should be held to the same level of scrutiny.   Maintain an excellent level of hospitality/cleanliness in the Tour Path, by making sure the proper items, events, and interactions (i.e. flowers, photographs, cooking demonstrations, recognition of guest by name by staff) are in place at all times and all events (resident activities/major or minor building repairs) are coordinated appropriately. Deliver the Senior Lifestyle Corporation’s Signature Services and understand that it is a key component to the community’s image. These Signature Services help differentiate the community from its competitors by enhancing the community’s image and level of service.   Play an integral role in the Employee On-Boarding process, by acting as a liaison between the Human Resources Department and the new hire, as well as helping reinforce the expectations/standards that are set for the on-boarding process.  Work with the Dining Staff to support a polished hospitality approach to dining room service. Assist in the coordination and oversight during special community events.  Let the Community’s residents, residents’ families, or out-side entity know that you are there to help fulfill any special request related to their dining experience. Ensure that every department is notified of all new move-ins to help coordinate new resident involvement in appropriate activities and meals.   Support the Hospitality Training the community’s staff.   Take a role in the development and operation of the Ambassador program at the community.  

Concierge-PRN Overnight starting at $17

Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families. Answer telephone calls. You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity. Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns. You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested.  Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes. You will assist other departments with administrative functions. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
