Business Office Manager

Maintain resident, business office and employee files. Perform Human Resources function by conducting new hire orientation and administering benefits. Assist in answering resident billing issues. Also maintain the ancillary charge worksheet on a weekly basis. Ensure that move-in deposits and rents are deposited in a timely manner. Send monthly delinquent notices and follows collection guidelines. Process resident lease renewal letters. Ensure that payroll is accurately prepared and reported to the corporate office at the time designated. Ensure that accounts payable procedures are processed timely & accurately. Ensure that all proprietary, financial, and resident information is kept confidential. Monitor and record petty cash disbursements and reconcile to replenish.  Process/file workers compensation claims. Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, it’s records, and restricted information. Understands the safety and disaster plan. Participate in the Manager on Duty program. Attend various community events. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Perform other duties as assigned.

Licensed Practical Nurse (PRN)

Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation. Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans. May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director. Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community. Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.     May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed. 

Executive Chef

Prepare meals from standardized recipes in accordance with order in a timely and attractive manner. Set up food service line and workstations with needed condiments. Ensure all condiments and garnishes that are required are prepared and served with the appropriate foods. Assist in recipe and menu development.  Coordinate prep for the following day’s menu. Lead a pre-meal meeting with food servers to review detail of daily menu.   Assist with training of new kitchen employees. Ensure an adequate number of culinary employees each shift and ensures absences are covered as to not allow coverage holes. Assist with scheduling of employees within the department.  Assist with food ordering, monitoring inventory and creating the menu cycle. Keep stock rooms, coolers, and freezers clean and ensure that food supply stocks are rotated and that all perishables are labeled, dated, and stored properly. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food preparation according to state and local health department code requirements. Keep food waste to a minimum by utilizing food storage and food recycling techniques. Manage and supervise Sous Chefs, Cooks, Lead Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Utility Workers as needed.

Activities Assistant (Part Time)

Assist in planning and coordinating all resident activities.  Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities and provide transportation to them as needed. Lead various activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director. Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.

Care Associate (PRN)

Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents. Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions, as needed, for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Participate in and lead one on one and group activities. Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
