Server (Full Time – Evening) Assisted Living

Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Cook (Part Time Evening – Independent Living)

Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes. Work the food line during mealtimes. Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines and that all kitchen areas meet sanitation guidelines. Ensure resident and guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Registered Nurse (RN) Designee

Responsible for medication supervision/administration for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community. Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information. Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Concierge – Part time – Weekend shifts

Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families. Answer telephone calls. You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity. Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns. You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested.  Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes. You will assist other departments with administrative functions. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Sous Chef

To assist in the oversight of daily operations in the kitchen. Works with the Executive Chef to ensure the highest quality food products and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This position is required to supervise other staff positions. This position will perform the duties of the Executive Chef in his/her absence. • Produce and oversee meals, production and special events for quality assurance of meal presentation and portion control. • Prepare and coordinates all meals from standardized recipes. Ensure production sheets are completed according to the food production sheets policy. • Assist in the coordination of prep for the following day’s menu. • Participate in a pre-meal meeting with food servers to review detail of daily menu. Maintain daily interaction with residents. • Keep stock rooms, coolers and freezers clean and rotated. All food must be covered, labeled, dated and stored in accordance with local, state and county health department policies. • Ensure adequate staffing of culinary employees each shift. • Assist in ordering and inventory. • Assist in the adherence to maintaining budget compliance for daily food costs. Assist in applying appropriate loss prevention procedures. Keep waste to a minimum by utilizing food storage and food recycling techniques. • Assist in training and scheduling of employees in accordance with Company human resources policy. • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food preparation according to state and local health department code requirements. Adhere to personal hygiene policy. • Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.

Activities Director/Memory Care

Are you ready to lead an amazing memory care program at an amazing community?        LET”S TALK! Assess/evaluate potential residents for Memory Care level of care. This may involve assessing/evaluating potential residents in their home or another healthcare setting; must be able to drive to location and perform assessment/evaluation professionally and timely if necessary. Monitor documentation systems to ensure that all regulatory timeframes for review of assessments and service plans are met and that resident needs are met. Write and review residents’ assessments/evaluations and care-plans with appropriate staff. Coordinate, along with the Executive Director and Director of Health and Wellness, family/resident care conferences and serve as a direct liaison between residents, families, and staff. Work with residents, families, and other staff to ensure that residents are at appropriate levels of care. Conduct interviews, orientation, and ongoing training of Memory Care Team employees in accordance with employee training policy and regulatory guidelines.  Coach and counsel departmental employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle human resources policies.  Manage Memory Care employees in partnership with the Health and Wellness director or designee.  Promote the company’s Embrace philosophy in all aspects of his/her role to include interactions with resident, family, and staff and the daily oversight of Memory Care operations in partnership with the Health and Wellness Director. Organize the monthly programming calendar and needed supplies.  Plan, coordinate, and evaluate Memory Care resident programs. Lead high quality innovative programs in Memory Care to include a minimum of 3-5 self-lead programs daily. Implement and monitor programs and processes to promote excellence in programming while maintaining a high level of resident/family/staff satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner. Adhere to the budget guidelines for the department. Maintain current knowledge of Alzheimer’s/dementia topics and participates Memory Care Department Director training as assigned. Provide education, training, and hands on support to community staff.

Caregiver- Full Time 7a-3p $20 per hour

Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders (as applicable), bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Provide emotional and social support to residents. Document daily log of assistance. Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. Respect residents’ confidentiality. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Dining Services Supervisor

Supervise daily operation of dining room(s), room service and convenience store. Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests. Ensure room service orders are delivered timely and properly. Ensure smooth and timely opening of the dining room. Assist in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guidelines for service staff. Ensure that there are an adequate number of employees for each shift and ensure that absences are covered. Lead the training of all new dining room employees. Assist service staff during mealtime as needed. Oversee resident billing of food service charges. Manage dining staff.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Skilled Nursing FT / PT (AM/PM/Night shift)

Take and record vital signs. Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output. Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor. Assist as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Transfer, position, and turn residents. Provide skin care to residents. Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care. Provide nursing rehabilitation/restorative nursing services. Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor. Provide emotional and social support to residents. Promote and protect resident rights, assist residents in making informed decisions, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect, avoid the need for physical restraints in accordance with the current professional standards, and support independent expression, choice, and decision-making consistent with applicable law and regulation. Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. Respect residents’ confidentiality.
