Concierge

Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families. Answer telephone calls. You may be asked to ensure the safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity. Process reports for such things as work orders, incidents and concerns. You will receive packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc. and deliver or hold as requested.  Maintain the sign in/out log for the issuance of community keys, and gate passes. You will assist other departments with administrative functions. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, thus striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -Night shift

Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation. Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans. May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director. Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community. Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members. Provide educational meetings for residents and staff. Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.     May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.

Utility Worker

Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Safely and efficiently operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual. Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing. Remove from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken. Stock delivered food and non-food items. Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes. Deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment.     Attend all training and in-service seminars. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Perform all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Director of Resident Services

Plan, develop and implement resident lifestyle programming within and outside of the community.  Facilitate collaboration between assisted living and memory care programming staff to ensure quality programming is planned and executed.  Ensure services within and outside of the community are made available to all residents, including transportation oversight. Assist tenants in making arrangements to meet their personal needs. Establish a tenant council and ensure tenant information system is in place. Survey and interview residents to collect social history data that represents residents’ past and present interests and talents, as well as their satisfaction with the community’s programs.  Document and maintain records as required to effectively manage the department and adhere to applicable state regulations.  In consultation with the Executive Director and Director of Health and Wellness, hire, train, discipline and terminate departmental employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation Human Resources policy. Conduct interviews, orientation, and ongoing training of Memory Care Team employees in accordance with employee training policy and regulatory guidelines.  Coach and counsel departmental employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle human resources policies.  Manage Assisted Living employees in partnership with the Health and Wellness director or designee.  Promote the company’s Embrace philosophy in all aspects of his/her role including   interactions with resident, family, and staff and the daily oversight of Assisted Living operations in partnership with the Health and Wellness Director.  Organize monthly programming calendar and necessary supplies.  Maintain monthly department budget.  Meet with families during care plan meetings; streamline transitions of residents in/out of as well as within the community. Develop and manage community transportation program. Act as a liaison as needed by the Quality Assurance team.  Maintain current knowledge of Alzheimer’s/dementia topics and participate in Assisted Living Department Director training as assigned.  Provide education, training, and hands on support to community staff.
